A Dia Del Niño Celebration honoring our Children and Mother Earth
Join us on May 19th as we celebrate our children in honor of Mother Earth.
We understand the connection between a healthy community and the way its people and resources are cared for. And we feel fortunate to live in a vibrant city with others who create opportunities for us to maintain this vital connection.
On this day we will take a moment to pause and come together. In our gathering we will share collective wisdom with those who will carry on our stories and reflect the abundant legacy of our community; our children.
We invite you to join us for a fun-filled day featuring vendors, workshops, health screenings and live music. We will connect, we will dance, we will create, and we will unite in the playful spirit that exists within each of us and the grounding energy of Madre Tierra who holds us all. We cannot wait to see you!
The day’s event features:
Children’s Drumming Circle with Carlos Manriquez and friends
Zumbini with Paula Glowacki
Craft and Activity table with AppleSeed Childcare
My Color Journey- A Mindfulness and Chakra class with One Foot In
Children’s Cooking Demo with Dominique Alvarado of Algo Dulce
